25 - 28 October 2016: 17 EPVs exhibit at Art de Vivre à La Française in Shanghai The French state supports export initiatives undertaken by EPVs in the framework of the partnership between the Directorate General for Enterprise (DGE) and the agency promoting the French economy internationally, Business France. 17 Living Heritage Companies will thus be highlighted in Sinan Mansion in Shanghai on the occasion of the ‘Art de vivre à la française’ exhibition, with its specially designed scenography.

7 EPV “Tables d’Exception” for the Fête de la Gastronomie As part of the Festival of Gastronomy and the 10th anniversary of the EPV label, the ISM will present 7 exceptional gastronomic and ‘arts de table’ selections from all over France, illustrating the extraordinary talents of Living Heritage Companies: Restaurant 144/Petrossian and Le Taillevent in Paris, Le Negresco in Nice, the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz, Le Relais Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu, the Les Crayères estate in Reims and the Manufacture Cluizel Chocolatrium® in Damville, are all EPV certified and will host these presentations highlighting the complementary expertise of EPV gastronomy, tableware and décor.

The DGE/Business France export partnership for EPVs has been renewed The export agreement for Living Heritage Companies signed between the General Directorate for Enterprise (DGE) and Business France, the French agency for international business development, has been renewed. In 2016 the programme for EPVs includes: the Hospitality – Decoration Connecting Days in the United Arab Emirates, the French Design Forum in London, “Art de Vivre à la Française” in Shanghai and a cluster approach in the US / Canada.

20 June 2016: export Workshop on Southeast Asia for EPVs A region driving international economic development with an average growth rate of nearly 5% in 2015 (3% worldwide), ASEAN (10 countries in South East Asia) has a population of 625 million (against 500 million in Europe) - and forecasts for 2025 announce an increase to 700 million people, characterised by the significant development of the middle class with higher income levels. To help EPVs (Living Heritage Companies) to position themselves in this market, the ISM (Institut Supérieur des Metiers), along with CCI France International, is organising a workshop / speed meeting with country advisers.
