The Ministry of Foreign Affairs roadmap for poles of excellence in tourism is now out At the end of the Assises du Tourisme (the national public consultation for the tourist industry), Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius announced the establishment of five poles of excellence for tourism. These poles have been designated to help renew the French tourism offering, adapting it to the changing expectations of tourists on key themes through which France can better develop and promote its offer. Craft tourism is one of these poles and the ISM and the EPV label have been very much involved in the Steering Committee for this pole. Over thirty people, including many EPVs, were audited over several months. This has resulted in the recommendation of 19 measures for the development of craft tourism and its promotion internationally.

Two Prix Stars & Métiers award-winning Living Heritage Companies in the Île-de-France Organised by Banques Populaires and the Chambres de Métiers et de l'Artisanat (Chambers of Trades), the Prix Stars & Métiers award recognises heads of craft businesses for their success in terms of innovation, know-how and business dynamics. The award ceremony for the Île-de-France region took place on Monday 21 September 2015: our congratulations go to two EPV labelled companies who received awards, Nor Line and Moner!

Living Heritage Companies Workshops open their doors for the European Heritage Days 2015 The 32nd European Heritage Days are being held on 19 and 20 September 2015. The theme this year is perfectly suited for prestigious French houses with the Living Heritage Company label: "Heritage of the 21st century, a history of the future". Among the 1276 EPVs (Entreprise de Patrimoine Vivant) throughout France, many are throwing open their doors this weekend to welcome and amaze you and show you what goes on behind the scenes in their workshops.

16 September 2015: the EPV Label day at the Milan Universal Exposition On Wednesday 16 September 2015, the EPVs (Living Heritage Companies) celebrate all things gastronomical at the French Pavilion at Expo Milano. A special day has been organised to bring together twenty Living Heritage Companies at the Universal Exposition, as a preview to the Festival of Gastronomy, a major event for EPVs that has taken place each year since the EPV label was set up. The programme: a guided tour of the EPV area in the Pavilion, a panel discussion and an EPV promotional lunch attended by Martine Pinville, Secretary of State for Trade, Craft Industries, Consumer Affairs and the Social Economy.
