The ISM, appointed by the French State to administer the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, has signed a partnership agreement with Drouot Formation, ‘the art school for the art market’, to promote French skills of excellence and incorporate classes given by heads of EPV-labelled companies in their training programme, particularly in the field of heritage restoration. On 10 and 11 April, Made in France by Fatex, the annual trade fair devoted to high-class French craftsmanship, will take place at the Carrousel du Louvre. The event will include an exhibition and demonstration of EPV expertise, with eight labelled fashion houses taking part. Learn more

From 5 to 7 April 2013, over 3 000 professionals invite you to discover their trades and talents during the Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art (European Arts and Crafts Days). Ceramic artists, marquetry artists, gilders, instrument makers, glassblowers, lacemakers, picture restorers, and many more: all are ready to share their secrets. A whole host of events will be going on all across France, and EPV-labelled companies will, of course, be taking part, in particular at the Journées Mans’Art. Learn more
