24 November 2017: EPV label award ceremony in the Centre-Val de Loire region
On Friday, 24 November 2017, the Centre-Val de Loire Regional Directorate for Business, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment (DIRECCTE Centre-Val de Loire), with support from the ISM, held a ceremony at the Loiret Chamber of Crafts and Trades Apprenticeship Training Centre, to award certificates to the latest companies in the region to receive the EPV label.
ISM director Alexis Govciyan began by presenting the new institutional film for the EPV label, which highlights the values and showcases the skills excellence of these extraordinary companies.
Gérard Bobier, chair of the Regional Chamber of Crafts and Trades, Antoine Bonneville, chair of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Kristof de Meulder, policy officer at the Directorate-General for Business, went on to speak about the importance and the need to develop EPVs in the regions.
Next, five labelled companies – Lenzi (makers of electric light fittings – Indre), Cyfac (makers of bicycle frames – Indre-et-Loire), Mazet de Montargis (luxury confectionary and chocolates – Loiret), Gauthier et Cie (makers of curtain rails, blinds and mechanisms – Eure-et-Loir) and Flûtes Parmenon (flute makers – Loiret) – shared with those present what the EPV label means to them.
Finally, certificates were awarded to the new holders of this unique State label in recognition of skills of excellence.
In all, 23 labelled companies were present at the ceremony.
