Sale to private individuals and professionals

Founded in 1808, the company is specialised in making blankets, plaids and quilts from natural fibres: wool, linen, silk and rare fibres rares (alpaca, camel, cashmere, merino wool).

The company carries out every step of manufacturing, from preparing raw materials: carding,  spinning, weaving, fulling, napping and other dressing operations, sewing, and stitching and quilting of quilts filled with wool fibres. The company has rare know-how as the profession of wool worker is no longer taught in France.

Prices vary from a few dozen euros (plaids made of pure wool from the Alps for 60 euros, mohair plaids for 150 euros), to several thousands of euros (blankets made from rare fibres). The clientele consists mainly of companies: distributors of household linen, hotels, etc. Prestigious customers include the Palais de l’Elysée, the royal family of Bahrain, the Carlton in Cannes, etc.

The company distributes its products via a network of salespeople. The items are available in department stores (BHV, Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, Bon Marché). 15% of revenue comes from exports to western Europe, Russia, Japan and the United States.
