The company has two specific areas of know-how: Mr Compas is a turner-glazer and Mrs Compas is a decorator. After hollowing the parts by turning, they are cooked a first time at 1020° and then the items are hand-decorated. They are then glazed and cooked once more at 980°. The company is one of the last ones in Vallauris. The complex areas of expertise (turning of large parts, glazing in lasting colours) require long years of experience.
The clientele is international and consists entirely of private customers. The company exports to the United States, Switzerland, England and Japan.
