The stage is their business. Created in 1970, the MBV Costume Workshop is specialised in the production of stage costumes for the opera, theatres, circuses, cinema, advertising, etc. .

The workshop’s founder, Mine Barral Vergez, is a famous costume designer and a celebrity in the world of show costumes for the TV extravaganzas of the day. She dressed many personalities from the theatre, cinema, music halls, song and circuses.

Bruno Fatalot took over the workshop in 2007 and was joined by Nathalie Chevalier in 2009, both of whom seek to preserve the workshop’s world of design and creation of stage costumes.

The workshop can create and/or re-create historical costumes using complex cutting and haute-couture techniques (dressmaking, crinoline, tailoring, etc.).

Bruno Fatalot and Nathalie Chevalier produce models that are executed at the workshop. They are also called upon by costume designers who do not have their own workshops. Boned corsets, totes, crinolines, costumes for men, women and children, etc. – the workshop can make just about everything.

The Paris Opéra, the Théâtre du Châtelet, the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, the Moulin Rouge, Disneyland Paris, circuses such as Gruss and Knie, etc. have all placed their trust in the workshop’s various talents.

The haute couture world also calls upon MBV Costume Workshop’s expertise. MBV Costume Workshop is a French reference for the stage as well as in Haute Couture. The workshop seeks to transmit its expertise to upcoming young talents.
