The company "Les Craquelins de Saint Malo” was established in 1923. Since then it has been making "craquelins”, small traditional puffed rolls to spread with butter or other toppings to eat at breakfast, with an aperitif and during meals.

It masters a savoir-faire that stems from an old, secret recipe that has not been altered in order to keep all the authenticity of these highly original little puffed rolls, that crunch when you bite into them and melt in the mouth.

The company stands out through its decision to rationalise and automate its ancestral procedure at a semi-industrial scale.

All the ingredients (flour, eggs, milk, barley malt, baking powders) come from France, and mainly Brittany. The company’s history is strongly linked to the town of Saint-Malo.
