The Etienne Rayssac workshop's core business is sculpture. It carries this out in different areas: so-called "style" sculpture in the tradition of the work of the sculptor decorator for woodwork, furniture, antique reproduction, lighting and high-end rooms and contemporary sculpture orders for wall murals, furniture and unique pieces for interior designers.

For the contemporary part of the business, Etienne Rayssac's creativity combined with the knowledge of ancestral trades allows the business to project manage orders requiring several skills and crafts: carpentry, cabinet making, bronze sculpting, foundry work, lacquering, plastering, patinas, etc. This means it is able to manage orders all the way from the drawing stage to the implementation and the finishing of carved pieces. The Atelier Rayssac is also involved in Historical Monuments approved restoration projects.

The company possesses a rare and undisputed know-how. Practical mastery is acquired at the workshop during a long apprenticeship and theory is taught at evening classes at the École Boulle, École Place des Vosges and the École du Louvre, or during complementary study for a cabinetmaker qualification. Étienne Rayssac studied at La Grande Chaumière in Montparnasse, then took evening classes at the École Boulle.

He has held Maître d’art status since 2008.

The company works for different types of clients: interior designers for woodwork, wall murals, carved furniture and unique items (80% of sales) and individuals and collectors (20% of sales) in France and abroad.
