Sale to private individuals and professionals

Towards the end of the 18th century, the manager’s ancestors started to cast bronze bells in different Swiss villages and later in France, finally settling down in Morteau in 1931.

While the casting and handling means have evolved over the years, production is still traditional. Sand moulding and finishing by turning are still manual tasks, making it possible to customer each bell individually with an inscription, a logo or a decoration. The company can also cast different objects in bronze: medals, low-relief carvings, etc.

The foundry workshop has added on a traditional saddlery workshop where it works with leather. It cuts pieces into collars which are used to hand the bells around the animals’ necks. These collars are decorated, painted, embroidered or studded by hand.

As the bells are customised on request, they are used for a variety of purposes: animals, house hallways, decoration, corporate gifts, commemorations, etc.

The clientele consists mainly of professionals. The company exports to Switzerland, different EU countries, North America and Japan.
