Lapparra orfèvre argentier
Find us on the Route of EPV:
Founded in 1893, the Lapparra workshop is one of the last historical silversmiths’ workshops still in activity in the Marais, the traditional Parisian silversmiths’ neighbourhood. The memory of the profession, the workshop has retained its original configuration and equipment: 19th century beam for striking cutlery, moulds, hand-engraved 18th and 19th century cutlery moulds and mandrels. The technicians, who have perfected their art and technical prowess through long years of experience, perpetuate the traditional know-how of an increasingly rare profession: moulding, turning, spinning on mandrel, fitting, chasing, reducing, buffing, etc. The workshop fulfils orders from interior designers or jewellers searching for exceptional pieces. It produces its own collections under the brand name SL (Souche Lapparra) destined for the high-class tableware market, wedding presents, births, decoration and accessories.
