Created in 1927, the name of "Mamias” was very quickly associated with the profession of campaner (bell maker) through the development of the first electrical equipment for bell ringing.

Manufacturer since then of equipment for bell ringing and clocks for monuments, today it remains an important supplier of mechanical and electrical material for the profession whilst at the same time carrying out an activity of installation and maintenance of bells and clocks found on edifices.  The company presents a great diversity of know-how: working with wood (carpentry), working with metal (metal specialist, turner), mechanics, electromechanical engineering, clock making and restoration, etc. It stands out particularly due to its collection of archives and its skills in restoring antique mechanisms. It is also known for its innovative capacities and for example has just created a clock of the tides.  The company is responsible for the maintenance of numerous historical buildings (Notre –Dame de Paris, Cathédrale de Chartres, Assemblé Nationale…) and recently has started intervening abroad.
