"Agnelle” makes leather gloves for well-known haute-couture fashion houses such as Dior or Jean-Paul Gaultier and for fashion designers. Each glove is made using traditional methods, requiring over five hours of meticulous work.
The skins are tanned in a special way and are then stretched and prepared. The glove is traced out with chalk on the leather, using a cardboard model. Then, the skins are cut and then the parts are assembled by seamstresses who hand-stitch them, or on machines, depending on the leather’s grain. Finishing details, lining and shaping complete this meticulous work.
Every year, the workshop creates a new collection in line with fashion trends. Its creations are then distributed throughout the world via a large network of leather goods sellers.
