Founded in 1984, STRAURE specialises in the manufacture of chairs and other furniture.
It possesses genuine, rare and complex expertise in woodworking and chair carpentry.
The workshop is regularly involved in restoring chairs from the Mobilier National, and has also worked on furniture by Eileen Gray from the Beaubourg retrospective, as well as various pieces by Rhulmann, Jacob and others.

Its prestigious clientele is made up of companies and interior designers (the designer Pinto, manufacture of furniture for the Hôtel Lambert, production of chairs upholstered in shagreen, inspired by a creation by André Groult, production of Boulard-model Louis XVI armchairs, etc.), private clients (production of a console table inspired by the grand cabinet of Madame de Pompadour at Versailles) and institutions (restoration work for the Mobilier National).

The company also exports to the United States, United Arab Emirates, Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
