Specialising in the restoration and conservation of giltwood objects and old paintings, the Meyer workshop pursues a family tradition going back three generations crowned with the qualification of "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" (best French craftsman).

The mastery of its twofold know-how and state-of-the-art equipment (anoxic treatment of wood, restoration of paints by low-pressure hot plate, etc.) enables it to restore all cultural works from the 14th to the 19th century: altars, polychrome statue, paintings on canvas or wood and old frames. The company also possesses a collection of old moulds that enable it to reproduce decorative picture frames. It applies strict compliance with the rules of conservation and the profession's code of ethics: reversibility of the work carried out, minimalist restorations and compatibility of materials.

Possessing solid client references in the east of France, it works regularly on historic monuments and on projects in other European countries (Italy, Switzerland and Austria).
