Born of a meeting in 1960 between Robert Goossens and Gabrielle Chanel, today Goossens Paris is one of the major names in fashion jewellery.

Its creations are associated with those of most of the Paris haute couture houses, including Balenciaga, Chanel, Yves Saint-Laurent, Christian Dior, and Thierry Mugler. Situated in North Paris, in the Plaine Saint Denis, the company is renowned for its remarkable creativity and skills in jewellery, precious stones and silverware. Combinations of stones, its sets of costume jewellery, produced in small runs or as single pieces, are noted for their particular aesthetic qualities in the fashion jewellery market. Acquired by Chanel in 2005, the company continues to collaborate with the haute couture and luxury ready-to-wear houses. Its own line of jewels and creations is displayed and sold in its own shop at  42 avenue Georges V in Paris.
