Declercq passementiers

Fabric trimming
15 rue Etienne Marcel
75001 Paris

Sale to private individuals and professionals

Declercq Passementiers took over La Passementerie Nouvelle, founded in 1856, and went on to specialise in high-class fabric trimmings. It produces two collections a year, through the work of its in-house design department and outside designers.

The owner of over 3000 archives of antique collections (tiebacks, fringes, etc.) of samples and technical documentation, Declercq Passementiers continues to produce trimmings in the traditional way. Nearly all of its production is carried out by hand, using late 19th-century techniques. Some of the Jacquard looms used in the atelier date back to the 20th century. Declercq Passementiers has a showroom in Paris with a space for demonstrations (open to the public on the first Thursday of each month).
