Maison Fouque has carried on the ancestral tradition of santons, or Nativity figurines, for four generations.

Ever since its founding by Jean-Baptiste Fouque in 1934, all the designs have always been created entirely by hand by a member of the Fouque family. Today, they are produced by Mireille Fouque and her son, Emmanuel. The famous Coup de Mistral, created by Paul Fouque in 1952, is an exclusive Maison Fouque design. The design is filed with the French Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). A certificate of authenticity is issued for each piece. All Fouque figurines are made in Provence using pure clay, fired at 960° and decorated using oil paints, which guarantee that the colours will last almost forever. The company offers 2000 different designs, made using traditional techniques.
