Ateliers Aubert-Labansat specialises in the restoration of antique joinery and timber frames. This hundred-year-old firm has thus worked on over 300 national and world heritage sites, most notable among them Mont Saint Michel and the Château de Versailles.

Ateliers Aubert-Labansat is known for being highly technically advanced, and for the respect it shows for the rules of the art: 80% of turnover corresponds to services carried out by the company, and 20% to the purchase of raw materials. It masters all joinery techniques developed between the 15th and 20th centuries (designs, joints, finishes), and it is able to make timber frames out of aged oak the old-fashioned way. The firm also masters additional skills in cabinetmaking, latticework and ironwork, so that it is able to manage most sites single-handed. Meanwhile, Ateliers Aubert-Labansat also carries out work on new buildings and does fit-out work, both in France and overseas, in particular in the USA, the UK and Switzerland.
