Holes in pages are filled using Japanese paper or by grafting on paper pulp. The books then go into the gilding and binding workshop where they are rebound manually with linen thread on a ribbon or on ribbed cording and where the leather book-bindings are restored and gilded with a binder stamp.
The workshop can carry out special operations such as the restoration of shadow play figures and the preventive conservation of documents. Lastly, a restoration workshop for figurative documents works exclusively with maps, plans, stencils, parchments, posters, etc. The company works principally for institutions such as the BNF, the Bibliothèque Forney, the Musée de la Libération, 75 departmental records offices, etc.
