Over five generations, the family-run Ateliers Duchemin has passed down and perfected its broad expertise in the creation and restoration of stained-glass windows.

In addition to a very fine collection of stocks of glass dating back to the 19th and early 20th centuries, and original grisailles and enamels, the firm has acquired the archives of the former Ateliers Lobin, thereby enriching its collection with a further 1,500 historic 19th-century stained-glass window designs. This unique material, combined with state-of-the-art equipment, means that Ateliers Duchemin is able to work on prestigious, technically demanding restoration sites, such as the châteaux of Versailles, Chantilly and Vaulx-le-Vicomte, and also deal with the specific demands of each era of stained glass, both in France and abroad (USA, Russia, Middle East, Asia).Besides its restoration work, the firm has developed a busy creation side, while also executing a great many stained-glass window designs by contemporary artists (Gilles Rousvoal, Sarkis, Olivier Debré and Geneviève Asse, Jean-Michel Alberola, Aurélie Nemours, Robert Morris) in listed buildings.
