The company Roy carries out restoration of antique architecture, mainly frameworks and roofs.

It is specialised in making chestnut battens that are resawed manually and used as supports for roofing materials: tiles, slate, flagstone, etc. The elements for frameworks, timber-framed walls and joist frames are squared off by hand.  The whole timber or resawed timber keeps its natural shape and curves.

The company also makes wood shingles in all dimensions. It also has know-how to work with cob, a mix of clay and straw. The company words for individuals, as a sub-contractor for specialised firms and for Historical Monuments.
