Created in 2006, the gilding restoration workshop specialises in gilding on wood as well as in the production of gilded picture frames.
The workshop handles all the stages of production: preliminary, historical and technical expertise, consolidation of supports and restitution respecting the rule of reversibility. David uses the traditional methods of gilding, with water using calcium carbonate, rabbit skin glue and gold leaf.

Its clientele is mainly composed of institutions (museums, castles) and individuals. The director obtained, by decree, the authorisation of the Museums and Monuments of France to "to carry out the restoration of items forming part of the collections of the museums of France".

The company has a large number of institutional references, and recent or ongoing work includes: Musée de la Vie Romantique, Jardin des plantes, Centre National des Arts Graphiques, Musée du Louvre, le Sénat ; Château de Maisons-Laffitte ; Notre-Dame la Daurade basilica in Toulouse, Musée Fabre in Montpellier, Théâtre Blossac in Châtellerault, the Palaces of Versailles, Chambord and Chennonceau, the cathedrals of Tours, Bourges and Dreux, etc.
