The company specialises in the manufacture of threads for industry and haberdashery. It manufactures cotton, polyester, linen, viscose and other threads for industrial companies in more than 1,500 colours, and threads sold in haberdashery stores with its brands Laine Saint Pierre and Fil Au Chinois, manufactured since 1847.

These threads are supplied to the weaving, lace, embroidery and garment manufacturing industries and to many other specific areas: quilting, trimmings, ribbons, leather, binding, etc. as well as to haberdashers and distributors.

With its unique expertise in coated threads and manufacturing embroidery cocoons, it enjoys a long-standing reputation. It is one of the few French companies still manufacturing a wide range of quality threads in its own workshops.

Today the company has two production sites: the historic factory in Marcq-en-Baroeul and the Barrois Toulemonde factory, in Bondues, both in the suburbs of Lille.

It exports a proportion of its production abroad (Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Italy).
