Fonderies Artisanales de la Région de l'Ourbise was created in 1978 and specialises in Cast iron foundry.
The workshop holds rare know-how in foundry and handles all stages of production from the mould to the finished product. It distinguishes itself in the trade by its mastery of complex operations: moulding sand by hand in inset cores for complex shapes and sand casting of hollow core pieces. It can produce items in all sizes, including the monumental.

Its clientele consists of companies (Constructions St Eloi, ETS Sovaig, ETS Berto, Lincoln Electric, Nicolas Cheminées, Schneider Electric, etc.) private customers and collectors.

The company has produced commissions for architects: the reproduction of hollow columns from 5 to 6.5 m high for Cancon market (Lot et Garonne) in 2018; the cast iron cladding of the Eiffel steel structure of the St Jean train station in Bordeaux (for St Eloi constructions) in 2017; the reproduction of cast iron guardrails for the Château de Pau in 2016.
