Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant

Established in the department of the Eure in 1928, Chedeville-Lelandais specialises in the manufacture of plugs for wind instruments in leather and goldbeater’s skin.

It is one of two companies in France to produce these plugs, and thus contributes to keeping alive the increasingly rare tradition of making accessories for wind instruments (clarinet, saxophone, oboe, flute).

It has a clientele of professional instrument repairers and makers, and enjoys a solid reputation overseas, exporting a large part of its production. It works with Feeling in Paris, JS Musique in Lyon, Mafer in Spain, World Frontier in Japan and, since a short time ago, with Yamaha.
