Founded in 1892, Causse is the oldest glovemaker in Millau, a centre for glovemaking that is famous throughout the world. It has preserved its old equipment, which is displayed for visitors to see. p>

Committed to passing on traditional skills, the company trains its own cutters and seamstresses, who carry out the three main stages involved in making a glove: cutting, then sewing and assembly, and lastly finishing. ;

Causse has incorporated its own design office, and each year its creative directors take part in designing a new collection of casual gloves and sports gloves, which it markets under its own brand name through a network of luxury stores. It also works for high-fashion brands and designers, in France and overseas.
