The Emile Pernot house is over one hundred years old and is a direct descendent from the origins of that drink of ill repute, "absinthe”.

Their copper stills, over a century old, are used for distilling absinthe and are the only stills of this kind still in use in the world, enabling Les Fils d'Emile Pernot Distillery to produce absinthes as well as anise-based drinks and liqueurs with exceptional quality using methods that have remained unchanged for over 100 years.

The company has rare expertise in distilling and enjoys a faithful clientele in France and abroad. It is located near Pontarlier, absinthe’s historical home.
