Atelier et musée d'horlogerie mécanique
Find us on the Route of EPV:
Using a collection of several hundred technical books on clocks from the 17th to 21st centuries and a stock of ancient movements and watches, the studio is able to work on clocks from different periods. As each period has its own machining and manufacturing methods and materials, the company adapts its tools and its interventions accordingly. In addition to repairing and making clocks, the studio has made the mechanics for automatons, mechanical systems for special effects for TV and cinema, mechanical parts for ancient weapons; it has worked on particular striking works, special assemblies for ancient rotisseries, parts for aeroplanes and collector cars, modifications of aircraft equipment, etc. The company works exclusively on order. It intends to open a museum on 19th-century clock-making in 2008.
